| Welcome to the website 5P15COP A website made to introduce the special event Hamradio station 5P15COP. We want you all to show your interest in the global environment by working this special call sign in the days for the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. The Conference will take place Dec. 7 to Dec. 18 2009. We invite all radioamatures world wide, to take a short break from a busy day, and let us know that you also care about the environment by contacting our Ham radio station. As the name of the Conference indicates, you could say the goal is to save our planet. Or at least make it a nice place to live. We think this is a very good and very important matter, so you should think of this website as a little but serious attempt to be a part of the global movement. Many many people before us have made a big effort to make a difference:        We would like to meet you in as many bands and modes as possible, but you will of course receive our QSL card after just one contact.  For the radioamatures who really makes a effort, we would like to say thanks for the contribution by converting the QSO's to our special Award.  To obtain the award you have to collect at least 8 points. 1. Contacts with stations on other continents than EU are worth 4 points. 2. Contacts with stations in EU outside Denmark, 3 points. 3. Contacts with stations in Denmark, 2 points. 4. Contacts on 6m and 2m are worth 8, 6 or 4 point respectively. We plan to be QRV on 160-10m but also 6m and 2m will be activated in the period of the conference from Dec. 7 - Dec. 18. QSL information: Bureau is OK via OZ5BAL. Award fee is + US 7$ or 5€ The operators behind the 5P15COP call sign are members of the local radioamature club station OZ5BAL. www.oz5bal.dk OZ5BAL EDR Ballerup is located about 20 Km's west of the Bella Center, where the Climate Conference will take place. The location for the Conference and 5P15COP is also IOTA EU-029 and count for the IOTA Award.
